Working Alongside Apostolic Leadership

  1. Understand the vision and mission set by the apostolic leader.
  2. Communicate openly and regularly to align goals and expectations.
  3. Support the leader's initiatives through active participation and feedback.
  4. Foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect within the team.
  5. Be adaptable and willing to embrace change as guided by leadership.
  6. Pray for wisdom and discernment in decision-making processes.

Discerning God's Voice

  1. The Role of Scripture: God’s voice primarily aligns with the Bible, which acts as the boundary and filter for what He says.
  2. The Holy Spirit & Peace: God speaks through an internal sense illuminated by the Holy Spirit, often bringing peace (a "go" signal) or warning (a "no" signal).
  3. Distinguishing the Voice: God's voice fosters love, patience, and humility, whereas the enemy's voice generates anger, fear, confusion, and pride.
  4. Obedience and Surrender: The root of clear communication is humble obedience, where surrendering one's will helps clarify God's voice.
  5. The 5 C's of Discernment: Key elements include focusing on Christ, checking Character/motives, finding Confirmation in Scripture, recognizing Circumstances, and experiencing Consistent peace.for Jews to connect with their faith, family and community.

Finding Your Purpose

  1. Reflect on Your Life: Identify moments when you felt most alive, proud, or fulfilled. Consider challenges you have overcome; your hardships can be a source of strength for others.
  2. Identify Your Strengths and Passions: Make a list of what you are good at and what you love to do. Ask friends, family, or colleagues what they believe your unique skills are.
  3. Be of Service: Purpose often comes from contributing to the well-being of others.
  4. Look Back at Childhood: Reconnect with what you loved doing before external pressures or career pressures dictated your choices.
  5. Adopt a Growth Mindset: Be curious and open to learning new things, which can lead to new interests, say this Forbes article and this YouTube video.

Growing In the Prophetic

  1. Deepen Intimacy with God: The foundation of the prophetic is a relationship with God, not just receiving information. Practice spiritual disciplines like prayer, fasting, and reading Scripture.
  2. Practice Listening and Discerning: Cultivate a "listening heart" to distinguish God's voice from your own thoughts. Start by focusing on what God is saying, rather than requesting things.
  3. Practice and Activation: Start small by writing down impressions, visions, or words in a journal. Practice giving encouragement to others in a supportive environment, such as a church small group.
  4. Develop Mentorship and Accountability: Seek mentorship from experienced prophetic leaders to guide your growth and provide feedback on your interpretations.
  5. Focus on Life-Giving Ministry: Ensure that prophetic words are designed to uplift, comfort, and encourage individuals, aligning with the heart of God.
  6. Understand God’s Timing: Wait on God’s timing to share a word, as not all insights should be immediately spoken.
